Legendary Guitarist Uli Jon Roth Announces „Pictures of Destiny“ World Tour

April 2025 — Guitar virtuoso and visionary composer Uli Jon Roth is set to embark on an exciting world tour with the launch of his brand-new show, „Pictures of Destiny.“ The tour kicks off this August in Japan, where audiences will be the first to experience Roth’s entirely new musical program — a landmark event for fans of his unique fusion of classical and rock music.

The “Pictures of Destiny” tour will feature the world premiere of numerous new compositions and songs, including selections from Roth’s latest work, Requiem for an Angel. Each concert will offer an immersive experience, combining sound, vision, and soul. Notably, the Tokyo performance will include a full orchestra performing alongside Uli’s band — a rare and powerful musical collaboration.

Adding a unique visual dimension to the shows, select venues will host exhibitions of Uli’s original oil paintings. These stunning artworks are intended as a visual extension of the music itself, offering audiences a multi-sensory experience. Paintings will be on display both in the venue foyers and on stage as part of the concert setting.

Immediately following the tour, Uli will lead his renowned Sky Academy seminar — a three-day artistic retreat from October 24–26 at Sky Haven in Long Beach, California. More than just a masterclass for guitarists, Sky Academy is designed to unlock creative potential through a variety of innovative techniques. The program draws from Uli’s recently published book, In Search of the Alpha Law, which serves as the seminar’s philosophical foundation.

To conclude the year, Uli Jon Roth will launch a full-scale North American tour beginning October 31st, bringing the inspiration of „Pictures of Destiny“ to audiences across the U.S. and Canada.
